Why Is It Important: The Metaverse, a term often referred to virtual worlds like Second Life, is a vast and growing space. As these virtual worlds continue to grow, keeping up with its happenings is an increasingly difficult process. One great resource was “The World of SL”, but has since been shut down. The Metaverse Wire builds on the idea, by feeding user submitted websites and resources, while categorizing and providing easy to get access to information, by filtering for category specific information or mulling through the broader stream of information from all aspects of the Metaverse.
